At Project A, we always look for people who go the extra mile and don’t shy away from turning their passions into reality. Our very own Mey Cezairli is an excellent example of that. From working as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London to now being a Principal at Project A — Mey has had an inspiring career path. She is not only known for her exceptional talent but also for her ambitions to make a difference in the world.
Today, we’re particularly excited and proud to announce Mey’s promotion to Principal.
Very few of us can predict where life will take us. After starting her career at Goldman Sachs in London, Mey wanted to look behind the curtains at how it is like to create a company from scratch. She moved to Berlin and helped build a digital health startup.
Lucky for us, Mey’s strong interest in the startup world and venture capital grew, and she joined us back in 2019 as an Investment Manager. Since then, Mey has covered different industry deep dives, ranging from Legal Tech to eCommerce Infrastructure, Travel, and Food. She has worked on some of our most exciting deals, including Pactum, Origin, Dalma, Root Global and Hors Normes.
It turns out her true passion lies in Sustainability and Digital Health. Increasingly seeing more and more development in the respective industries, she is constantly on the hunt for the next game-changers. Mey is geographically covering the DACH and Nordics region.
But her ambitions to create a more sustainable and fair future go far beyond her workday at Project A. A cause close to her heart is building tomorrow’s tech society with cultural diversity. She is a Founding member of 2hearts, a non-profit community of people with immigration backgrounds from the tech scene with the mission to help underprivileged minorities.
