At Project A, we bet on exceptional talents. That applies to our portfolio founders — but very much also to our internal teams. Young age has never been a showstopper for us: Uwe was 26 when he co-founded Project A, and Benedict was only 19 when we invested in his company Knowunity.

Today, we are proud to announce the next career step of one of Project A’s supertalents: At 27, Mila Cramer is the youngest person at Project A to become Principal. And we couldn’t be more excited to have her!

Mila joined us back in 2017 as an intern in the investment team when there were only two (!) people, working day and night, to find the next big thing in European tech.

And from day one, it became clear: she is a special one. Mila has a sharp analytical mind, she does what she does with a lot of passion and, most importantly, she never lacks a sense of very fine humour while doing it. This way, she normally gets what she wants (which is a pretty relevant skill in venture capital..).

She led her first deal when she was still an intern, has looked at thousands of other opportunities since, built unique expertise in her deep dive topics like education, no-code workflow management and consumer fintech — and last but not least, she worked on many exciting deals such as Ello, Knowunity, Heyflow and ExpressGroup.

Success for us as a VC firm means realizing that we have identified and bet on the right talent. Today is a very successful day for Project A. Congratulations, Mila!
